Giant Lizard Discovered in Philippines

Giant Lizard Discovered in Philippines
The island of Luzon is home to a cousin of the Komodo dragon, the Varanus bitatawa.  The yellow-spotted creatures can grow up to 2 meters (about 6.5 feet) long and prefer to spend their time in the trees eating fruit.  See photos of the elusive reptiles here.
